He wasn’t bragging, but rather stating fact. Only a few of his guards were seen, lingering in the shadows, and the steady hum of the ship sounded as it moved away from the docking bay. Ronan moved over to the controls, activating the tracking system. 

“An ally of mine has traced the fool’s last location. He believes the thief to be headed towards Xandar, but there are several other planets he could be headed.” He had a feeling that the Star Lord was indeed headed to Xandar, but he needed to consider all possibilities. He shouldn’t let his personal grudge get in the way of his mission. Failure was not an option in this case, or in any case, to be precise. He needed to take this seriously, otherwise he risked losing Thanos’s help with the Kree’s war against the Xandarians.

Drawing up the potential route that the thief could have taken, he turned to Jack. “A daunting task, but one that must be done, I’m afraid.” 

         Jack’s stare was following Ronan’s before she became distracted with the sudden appearance of guards lingering around. She was troublesome by nature, even making faces and flashing one of the guards before turning her attention back to Ronan muttering something about how he’s got his boys whipped. A small snort followed suit and she became solemn again, watching him move towards the controls of his ship. It was much different than Shepard’s who had a Galaxy Map they could use to map out their next destination or track coordinates. Shepard also had crew members who reacted whenever Jack bothered them. But this was nice, this was much better. It was dark and mysterious. Something she adapted very well to.

                                                                                                           "Xander huh?“

She walked up right next to him, scanning her eyes over everything.

                                                                                                           "If he was last seen on Xander I think you’ve got some time to trace him there, we’ll go there and search for the freak. He’s carrying an anomaly right? This orb couldn’t be just anything normal, so we could probably scan the planet for that. It’ll pop up, unless you haven’t upgraded since the stone ages Big Guy.”

She couldn’t help but smile, staggering away and laughing to herself.

                                                                                                            “I don’t remember the last time I got to pin someone down with my biotics and tear them limb from limb–you want him dead right?–I think you’d want that, hell. This Star-cock guy?”
