He watched Jack maneuver herself around his quarters as if she were entirely too familiar with them. His arms crossed over his broad, muscular chest, squinting at her as she made herself at home on his couch. “It’s the life of a commander, as well as a spectre." He peered at her, standing to lean against his desk.
"Shore leave? How unfortunate. We’ll be missing your presence while you are gone." He could tell she enjoyed him saying that. Although, he would be lying if he said he wouldn’t miss her. Jack was a unique character among his crew and the battles they partook in together formed a bond, despite either ever acknowledging it aloud.
Jack dragged her tongue over her canine and gave the Commander a pointed look, was he getting mouthy with her? "Nice try smart ass, I know I’ll be missed. If it’s not by your ass then it’d certainly be by birdbrains, Garrus.” She thinly smiled, tilting her head towards the side and drawing her shoulders upward to mimic his tone.
“I figured if I let you know what I’m doing you won’t worry or try looking for me. You get attached to your crew like that I heard.” She was sitting on his lounge seat by now, one foot resting up upon it and the other on the floor as she laid sprawled across it.
