”Maybe if we were Asari,” Miranda retorted. It was ironic that the two of them were built to be some of the strongest biotics of humanity yet they couldn’t get out of a simple elevator. “At this height, velocity and gravity would easily beat us,” she clarified. The image of a biotic explosion happening as the elevator crashed on the final floor popped up in her head. It would certainly alert maintenance of the issue.
The woman turned to look over at Jack. “It’s just you, the air recycles,” she started, though Jack was an adult and probably knew that. “Maybe there’s an air vent to crawl out of?” She suggested, noting Jack’s demeanour slightly changing.
"Look, I don’t have time for your shitty sarcastic remarks, I want to get the hell off of here and finish what Shepard instructed us to do. After that, I’m going to smack the hell out of Shepard for getting us into this predicament.“ Jack was so riled up she growled, the rumble forming in the pit of her belly and settling in her throat as she paced frantically around the elevator. It reminded her of a cell, and she hated cells. Closed in rooms with little to nothing space brought back flashbacks.
She looked up at the corners of the elevator and chewed at her lip. "What if we carried ourselves? Like a pull with the elevator if it drops? Our biotics just might be able to hold the weight and we can descend slowly?” Jack stopped, the idea didn’t seem so good once she thought about the very end of the elevator drop. They might not get out. “Alright then, contact Tali or Legion. Maybe they could figure things out, I don’t see a damn vent this is 2188.”
